Jan. 07--Cubs nutrition consultant Dawn Jackson Blatner is slated to appear as a health expert on the new ABC weight-loss competition "My Diet is Better Than Yours."
The show, which premieres Thursday at 8 p.m., pairs contestants with five health and fitness experts, who offer the competitors different plans to lose weight. The contestants can send their expert packing if they don't find success with the plan.
Blatner focuses on making healthy versions of favorite foods. She's paired with Jasmin Queen, an Atlanta stay-at-home mom struggling to lose baby weight.
Blatner has been the Cubs nutrition consultant since January 2010, according to her LinkedIn page. She's also a registered dietician and author of "Superfood Swap," due out in December.
