BRIEF: Cubs' Mike Olt available to pinch-hit

April 12--DENVER -- The swelling on his right wrist was barely noticeable Sunday morning, and Mike Olt said he should be available to pinch-hit if needed in the Chicago Cubs' series finale at Colorado.

"This morning I woke up, and it wasn't (swollen)," said Olt, who was hit by a pitch by reliever Adam Ottavino in the ninth inning of a 9-5 win. "It was a big step in the right direction."

With the help of several treatments, Olt said he could play if needed.

"I could probably steal a bag, or something like that," Olt quipped as he put on his batting gloves .
