May 21--The relentless gusts are causing the flags to snap loudly at AT Park, where Chicago Cubs ace Jake Arrieta hope to continue his dominance.
Arrieta, who has won his last 18 decisions over a 21-start period dating back to Aug. 1, 2015, will face the San Francisco Giants in a showdown of two first-place teams.
Arrieta, who is 7-0 with a major league-leading 1.29 ERA this season, beat the Giants twice last August during the Cubs' amazing run to the National League playoffs.
The Cubs tweaked their lineup, with Javier Baez starting at shortstop in place of Addison Russell, and Jorge Soler playing left field. Miguel Montero will behind the plate as Arrieta tries to improve to 4-1 lifetime against the Giants.
Jason Heyward, who is 2-for-15, remains in the second spot.
