May 31--The calm before the storm may come Sunday for the Chicago Cubs, who host the Kansas City Royals in the second game of an abbreviated two-game series.
Saturday night's scheduled contest was rained out and re-scheduled for Monday night, Sept. 28, at 7:05 p.m.
Following Sunday's game against the defending American League champions in chilly, raw conditions, the Cubs embark on a 9-game, 10-day trip to Miami, Washington and Detroit.
The Cubs' Tsuyoshi Wada (0-0, 2.70) faces Yordano Ventura (3-4, 4.64 )in Sunday's contest.
The Cubs and Royals will wear throwback uniforms honoring their 1915 Federal League counterparts, the Chicago Whales and Kansas City Packers.
