July 27--The Phillies rapped out 17 hits, including eight for extra bases, in Sunday's 11-5 victory to sweep the Cubs at Wrigley Field for the first time since 2009.

On the mound

Jason Hammel (5-5) lasted just 32/3 innings. He allowed six runs on eight hits. Phillies rookie Aaron Nola (1-1) earned his first career victory after going 72/3 innings.

At the plate

Ryan Howard homered for the second straight game. Every Phillies starter got a hit for the second straight game. Kyle Schwarber recorded his first Wrigley Field hit when he singled in the first.

In the field

Right fielder Jorge Soler appeared to take bad angles on hard-hit balls in the gap that wound up as triples.

The number

3 -- Triples surrendered by the Cubs, their most in a game since July 5, 2013, against the Pirates.

Pivotal at-bat

Nola singled in a run in the fourth to cap a three-run inning that put the Phillies ahead 6-2.
