May 03--Looking at the bigger picture, the Cubs hoped to forget Saturday's abysmal loss to the Brewers by capturing the three-game series on Sunday at Wrigley Field.
Jason Hammel (2-1, 3.55) has the starting nod for the Cubs, who seek their fourth straight series win. The Cubs entered the game in second place in the NL Central, 3 1/2 games behind the first-place Cardinals.
The Brewers (6-18), own the worst record in baseball and already sit 11 1/2 games out already.
