Aug. 17--A man reported missing by his friends after a swim in Lake Michigan has been found safe at home, police said Monday.
The 24-year-old man had been reported missing from Ohio Street Beach at about 11:10 p.m., according to Officer Ron Gaines, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department.
Fire crews responded just after 1 a.m. and police and fire marine units and divers searched for the man until 2:30 or 3 a.m., officials said.
Police went by his home Monday morning and discovered him there, police said.
