Sept. 10--Burglars crashed a white pickup truck into a clothing store in the Grand Crossing neighborhood Thursday morning, leaving the truck behind as they fled with merchandise, Chicago police said.
The truck smashed through the front door of The Shop 147 in the 7200 block of South Stony Island Avenue around 2:55 a.m., police said.
The burglars grabbed an unknown amount of merchandise and fled north in a black van that was waiting nearby, police said.
No one was reported in custody.
