Oct. 29--Richard Cotovsky will once again get behind the wheel of the "Hellcab" at Profiles Theatre, the theater has announced. Cotovsky played the driver of the eponymous cab in Will Kern's play many times during its original production at the now-defunct Famous Door Theatre.
In Kern's comedy, the overworked cabbie chauffeurs the gamut of Chicagoans on Christmas Eve. At Profiles, the annual production features a sizable cast including Charlotte Boer, Dennis Bisto, Amber Calderon, Maryann Carlson, Tamara Chambers, Charlee Cotton, Danon Dastugue, Jeff Dolecek, Carroll Furlough, Mary Franke, Jeff Gamlin, Carly Jo Geer, Drew Halliday, Grant Johnson, Brian Keys, Andrew Kudla, Vic Kuligoski, Laurie Lister, Ramissa Ma'at, Monty Montgomery, Whitney Pipes, Eric Salas, Brian Scannell, Mike Schiff, Judi Schindler, Terence Sims, Paige Taylor, Mari Uchida, Elias Valles, Geno Walker, Johnard Washington, Regina Whitehead-Mays and Jonah D. Winston.
