BRIEF: Corrections officer on Disneyland vacation charged with cocaine possession

June 27--A San Francisco-area corrections officials was charged Friday with leaving a fanny pack containing a gun and drugs behind in a hotel during a family vacation to Disneyland, prosecutors said.

Robert Dandrea Minor, 51, of Hercules faces one felony count of possessing a controlled substance with a firearm, according to the Orange County district attorney's office.

His arraignment is set for June 29 at the North Justice Center in Fullerton.

Prosecutors said Minor was on a trip to Disneyland with his family and was staying at a Hilton hotel in Anaheim.

He checked out of the hotel room on June 5 and left behind a fanny pack that contained a loaded Glock 20 handgun and .45 grams of cocaine. Hotel security later notified Anaheim police, who investigated the incident.

Minor is a juvenile corrections officer with San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department.

If convicted, Minor faces up to four years in prison.
