Feb. 01--Police are asking residents of two North Side neighborhoods to be watchful for suspicious activity after victims were robbed at gunpoint in two separate incidents last week, according to Chicago police.
The first robbery occurred at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of West School Street in Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood. In that case, the victim's vehicle was taken, police said.
A second robbery took place at 7 p.m. Thursday in the 6100 block of North Mozart Street in the city's West Rogers Park neighborhood. In the second incident, the suspects attempted to take the victim's vehicle but were unsuccessful, police said.
The suspects from the first incident were described as three white men in their 20s.
In the second robbery, the offenders were described as three white men, who were about 18 to 22 years old. Two were described as slim, 5-foot-7 inches to 5-foot-10 inches tall and wearing dark hooded jackets. The third offender was described as weighing 250 to 300 pounds.
