July 29--Chicago police are warning people in the Lakeview neighborhood to be vigilant after a series of muggings recently.
The incidents occurred on July 19, 20 and 25 in the early morning hours.
The July 19 attack happened at 12:30 a.m. on the 3500 block of North Clark Street. The offenders were described as four men 25 to 30 years old and a woman 25 to 30 years old, police said.
The July 20 attack happened at 1:15 a.m. on the 3300 block of North Halsted Street, involving three men and a woman, police said.
The latest attack, on July 25, happened at 5:30 a.m. on the 3200 block of North Halsted. The offenders were described as three males.
