BRIEF: Cops: Man wearing hospital gown and blazer went missing from Northwestern Memorial

Feb. 19--A man wearing a hospital gown, a blazer and a knit hat walked out of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and hasn't been seen since, said police.

Desmond Smith, 39, has multiple bandages on him including his left hand due to an amputation of his pinky finger. Police said he may be confused or disoriented.

Smith is described as a black man with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Police added Smith has a scar on his right jaw.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911 or the Area Central police at 312-747-8380.
