Daniel Alvarez, 23, was last seen July 22, on the 2600 block of West Cermak Road. He was wearing a black V-neck T-shirt, dark-blue jeans and white gym shoes, said police.

Alvarez, who has a tattoo on the left side of his chest, is known to frequent the city's Pilsen neighborhood, including Harrison and Dvorak parks, police said.

He is described as a Hispanic man with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs about 165 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
