BRIEF: Cops: Girl, 14, went missing a week ago from South Side

Dec. 14--Police are asking for the public's help finding a 14-year-old girl who has diabetes and went missing a week ago from the city's East Chatham neighborhood.

Keirra Davis left her home on the 8100 block of South Maryland Avenue on Dec. 7 about 9 a.m. without permission. She hasn't returned since, police said.

She was last seen wearing a black coat, blue leopard print pants, a black hat and black and pink gym shoes, police said.

Keirra is described as a black girl with a light complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, police said.

Anyone who sees Keirra should call 911 or the Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
