BRIEF: Cops: Boy, 12, missing from South Austin neighborhood

Nov. 19--Chicago police are asking for the public's help finding a 12-year-old boy who left his South Austin neighborhood home early Wednesday and never returned.

Akeem Amos left his residence in the 5200 block of West Congress Parkway about 6 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Akeem is described as a black boy with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet tall and about 120 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Chicago Police Area North Special Victims Unit at 312-744-8261.
