BRIEF: Copa America preview: Jamaica vs. Venezuela on Sunday

June 04--GROUP C: JAMAICA vs. VENEZUELA

Where: Chicago. Time: 2 p.m. PDT, Sunday. TV: KTVT (Channel 11, Los Angeles), Univision, UDN.

The buzz: Jamaica could be one of the surprise teams of the tournament, boasting a solid defense that led it to the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time last summer. And now veteran Wes Morgan, the anchor of that defense, comes into this event after helping lead Leicester City on a magical run to the English Premier League title. Could there be more magic in store for Morgan? This game will determine that. On paper this would appear to be Jamaica's softest game in group play -- Venezuela is the only South American country to have never played in a World Cup -- so it can't afford to slip.
