Feb. 25--Megan Whitt, who spent the past year as Notre Dame's coordinator of recruiting operations, is leaving the school, Whitt confirmed to the Tribune.
Whitt, whose responsibilities included social media strategy related to recruiting, organizing visits and recruiting events on campus and building relationships with recruits and their families, had come to Notre Dame from Ohio State. 247sports.com reported Whitt is leaving for a job in the NFL.
Her exit comes after recruiting coordinator Tony Alford, whom Whitt worked with closely, left for a job at Ohio State.
