BRIEF: Colorado State Capitol vandalized during Million Mask March; 10 arrested

Nov. 06--Denver police made 10 arrests after the Colorado State Capitol was vandalized with spray paint Wednesday night.

The vandalism occurred at the end of the annual Million Mask March, a worldwide movement promoted by the hacktivism group Anonymous that coincides with Guy Fawkes Day every Nov. 5.

One arrest included felony assault on an officer by a person linked to the vandalism, Denver police said.

On the official Facebook page for the Denver event, organizers asked people to protest peacefully.

"Absolutely no violence will be tolerated. Please be respectful as there may be children present and or in the area no drugs, no alcohol out of respect for the kids...," according to the post.
