May 22--What do you get when George R. R. Martin, whose novels inspired "Game of Thrones," meets Chris Martin of Coldplay?
"The greatest rock opera of all time," according to Liam Neeson.
As part of NBC's Red Nose Day telethon Thursday to raise money for children living in poverty, Coldplay staged a fake "Game of Thrones" musical that featured a Rastafarian theme, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau singing a romantic ballad about incest and a bloody Red Wedding rhyme.
"People are literally stunned," Chris Martin said, later adding, "I think we're onto something really special."
