Aug. 26--The meet-and-greet prior to Cody Simpson's concert at Concord Music Hall Sept. 25 is soldout, but there's another way to meet the Australian teen idol in Chicago before then.
Simpson is scheduled to perform Wednesday at Macy's on State Street on behalf of Ralph Lauren's Denim and Supply brand. Afterward, he'll take part in a meet-and-greet with fans. Customers who spend at least $75 on Denim and Supply products that day will get front-of-line access. How many people will show up? It's tough to say, but keep in mind Simpson will likely promote the appearance on Twitter, where he has 7.5 million followers.
In June, Simpson released his third studio album, "Free," which is his first album as an independent artist.
