March 29--The Clippers signed Lester Hudson to a 10-day contract on Sunday.
Hudson, a 6-foot-3 guard, was signed by the Boston Celtics as the 58th overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. Over three seasons in the NBA, he averaged 4.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 10.3 minutes with Boston, Memphis, Washington and Cleveland.
He most recently played in the Chinese Basketball Assn. for Liaoning, where he averaged 31.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 50 games. He's a two-time MVP (2014, 2015) and a three-time All-Star (2012, 2014, 2015) in the league.
The Clippers remain without reserve guard Jamal Crawford, who has been sidelined since sustaining a deep right calf bruise in a game on March 9.
The team has been monitoring reserve guard Nate Robinson to see if his knee injury improves after his second 10-day contract expired earlier this week.
