Nov. 29--The Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 107-99, on Sunday at Staples Center to win two games in a row for the first time since a 4-0 start.
The Clippers had lost eight of 11 games before Friday's 111-90 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Timberwolves cut the Clippers' 16-point lead to 88-83 with four minutes left. But the Clippers responded with an 8-0 run to lead by 13 points with 2 minutes 42 seconds to play.
The Clippers outshot the Timberwolves from the field, 52% to 45.1%.
Blake Griffin had 26 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Clippers, Chris Paul had 20 points, nine assists and two rebounds, and J.J. Redick had 18 points.
Luc Mbah a Moute made his first start for the Clippers this season, finishing with seven points and three rebounds in 24 minutes.
The Timberwolves were led by Andrew Wiggins, who had 21 points. Zach LaVine had 18 points and seven assists, and Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. The Timberwolves were without Ricky Rubio (sore left ankle) and Nikola Pekovic (Achilles' tendon injury).
The Clippers are midway through a six-game homestand. They play host to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
