BRIEF: Clippers beat Orlando Magic, 114-86, for sixth win in a row

Dec. 04--The Clippers beat the Orlando Magic, 114-86, on Wednesday to win their sixth consecutive game.

The Clippers never trailed and led by as many as 31 points. They shot 53.8% from the field compared to the Magic's 41.8%. The Clippers also bested the Magic on the boards, 44-34.

The starters sat in the fourth quarter. Blake Griffin finished with 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists, once again demonstrating his superior passing skills for a power forward.

J.J. Redick had 20 points on seven-for-11 shooting, including four three-pointers. DeAndre Jordan had 16 rebounds and three blocked shots in addition to scoring eight points while Chris Paul had 19 points and 10 assists.

With the win, the Clippers improved to 13-5 overall, 6-3 at home.

Entering Wednesday's game, the Clippers had averaged 109.1 points and shot a league-best 50.5% from the field over the team's last eight games. Wednesday's numbers were on par with their recent success.

Only three players on the Magic (7-14) finished in double figures, with Tobias Harris leading Orlando with 16 points on seven-for-11 shooting.

The Clippers next play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday when they host New Orleans at Staples Center.
