BRIEF: Chris Prosinski back with Bears on one-year deal

March 25--Chris Prosinski's arrival to Chicago came last September with the Bears looking to add more speed and experience to their specials teams unit. By late November, when Antrel Rolle suffered a season-ending knee injury, Prosinski was thrust into a heightened role on defense as well and wound up making five starts at safety.

The Bears saw enough of Prosinski in both phases to convey interest in bringing him back. And on Friday, Prosinski signed a one-year deal to return to the Bears.

In all, Prosinski had 32 tackles on defense and nine on special teams in 2015. He also forced a fumble in the Bears' Thanksgiving night win over the Green Bay Packers and recorded a sack against the Denver Broncos. Prosinski's return gives the Bears needed depth at safety and, more significantly, offers continuity to special teams where Prosinski will likely see much of his action.
