March 26--Chris Paul's wife, Jada, will host the fourth annual Prom Dress Giveaway on Saturday at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Chris Paul Foundation, which was founded by the point guard in 2005 in honor of his late grandfather to provide scholarships for high school graduates to attend Wake Forest University.
In the Prom Dress Giveaway, 100 L.A.-area high school girls, who have been selected from a variety of community programs, will choose from new and vintage gowns, shoes, jewelry and accessories.
The gowns are being provided by BCBGMaxAzria and Windsor Fashions. Jane Cosmetics will have makeup artists there who will give demonstrations and tips.
The event will also feature a runway fashion show with the Clippers Spirit Dance Team modeling some of the dresses.
There will also be a motivational speaker, gift bags and other surprises.
