BRIEF: Chris Paul, J.J. Redick will both play for Clippers against Minnesota

Dec. 07--In a surprise development, Chris Paul and J.J. Redick will both play and start for the Clippers on Monday night at the Target Center against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Clippers had previously listed Paul as out with the inflamed rib cartilage that had forced him to miss the previous 2 1/2 games, but he showed he was ready to return in a series of workouts Sunday and Monday.

"He worked out [Sunday] and went over to the gym and got some shots up and felt pretty good and then he went this morning and felt good again," Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said Monday evening. "The same with J.J."

Redick sprained his right ankle in the opening minute of the Clippers' game against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday and has not played since.

Rivers said he was unsure whether either player would have any limitations in the game.

The Clippers have won 13 consecutive games against the Timberwolves, having last lost to them on March 5, 2012.
