BRIEF: Chris Coghlan starts in RF for Cubs in Game 2 of NLCS

Oct. 18--Chris Coghlan's home run off Noah Syndergaard on May 12 evidently went a long way toward earning him a start in Sunday night's Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.

Coghlan will start for the Chicago Cubs in right field in place of Jorge Soler and will bat sixth. Miguel Montero will handle the catching duties with Jake Arrieta on the mound.

Soler went 2-for-3 against Syndergaard in a 6-1 win with Arrieta pitching eight innings of three-hit ball, but Soler looked uncomfortable Saturday night playing in temperatures that dipped into the high 30s. Sunday night's forecast calls for colder weather.
