May 07--Thirty-two eliminated "Survivor" contestants -- including a former Northwestern University professor who was recently voted off the show's current season -- may get another shot at victory.
The cast of the upcoming "Survivor: Second Chance" will be composed of 20 ex-contestants who were eliminated from their respective seasons, the show announced Wednesday. And here's the twist: Fans will select the 20 players from a pool of 32 ex-contestants.
The contestants vying for the fan vote include recent "Survivor: Worlds Apart" castoff Max Dawson, 38, who taught a class at Northwestern called "The Tribe Has Spoken: Surviving TV's New Reality" in 2012 and 2013 and now lives in California; University of Chicago graduate Spencer Reiman Bledsoe, 22 ("Survivor: Cagayan"); Chicago attorney Andrew Savage, 51, ("Survivor: Pearl Islands") and former Chicago Bear Brad Culpepper, 45 ("Survivor: Blood vs. Water").
Fans can vote until May 20 at www.cbs.com/shows/survivor/second-chance. Results will be revealed during the May 20 finale of "Survivor: Worlds Apart."
"Survivor: Second Chance," the show's 31st season, is expected to film in Cambodia this summer.
