BRIEF: Chicago singer Jeremih complains about album rollout

Dec. 14--Chicago R singer Jeremih took to social media over the weekend to complain about the rollout of his new album "Late Nights: The Album."

Jeremih, born Jeremih Felton and raised on the South Side, complained about the album's pricing and lack of availability in stores. The album was several months delayed.

"Y'all don't even deserve my voice," Jeremih tweeted to his label Def Jam Recordings. A Def Jam rep declined to comment.

"There's actually no CDs in the stores to even buy, that's the main point. Each Best Buy was shipped 6-7 copies a piece," he tweeted Sunday. A Best Buy spokesman told the Tribune that the album is available in more than 800 Best Buy stores nationwide and at bestbuy.com.

Jeremih, 28, is having a busy month. Besides the drop of his album, the "Birthday Sex" singer appeared on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend with Chance the Rapper to perform their new song "Somewhere in Paradise."
