BRIEF: 'Chicago' returns to Chicago in May

Oct. 21--Broadway in Chicago has announced that "Chicago" will be heading back to its namesake this May for a one-week-only engagement.

The longest running American musical in Broadway history tells the prohibition-era tale of cellmates Roxie and Velma as they compete to turn their crimes into a media spectacle. The musical features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Ebb.

"Chicago" runs May 10 -- 15 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph. Individual tickets will go on sale at a later date at broadwayinchicago.com.
