BRIEF: 'Chicago P.D.,' 'SVU' filming crossover in Chicago

Jan. 08--The boys are back in town.

"Law and Order: SVU" star Ice T tweeted Thursday that he is in Chicago to film a crossover episode with "Chicago P.D."

The announcement comes one day after NBC finished airing a crossover that united the "Chicago Fire," "Chicago Med" and "Chicago P.D." casts.

This is not the first crossover that has included "SVU." Episodes in April about a charming serial killer involved the "Chicago Fire," "Chicago P.D." and "SVU" squads. A similar crossover aired in November 2014.

"SVU," which stars Mariska Hargitay and Kelli Giddish, airs Wednesdays on NBC at 8 p.m.

"Chicago P.D.," which stars Jason Beghe and Sophia Bush, airs Wednesdays on NBC at 9 p.m.
