BRIEF: Chicago man missing, may be in need of medication

Sept. 15--Chicago police have issued a missing person alert for a man who may be in need of medical attention.

Alexander Lorrondo, 30, has been missing since Sept. 12 from the 4900 block of South Seeley Avenue in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said.

Lorrondo is described as Hispanic with a light complexion, who is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs 190 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, according to the alert.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket with black hood, red polo shirt, tan pants with a black belt, and white and blue gym shoes.

He left his home without his glasses and answers to "Alex," according to the alert.

Lorrondo frequents a park near 51st Street and Wolcott Avenue, police said.

Police said the man may be in need of medical attention.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Area Central detectives bureau at 312-747-8380.
