BRIEF: Chicago Heights bank robbed by suspect in Park Forest bank robbery: FBI

Feb. 19--A bank branch in Chicago Heights was robbed Thursday by a man suspected in another bank robbery earlier this month, according to the FBI.

Officials said the US Bank branch at 101 Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights was robbed at 4:41 p.m., according to the FBI.

The same man was suspected of robbing the First Midwest Bank at 2 Main St. in Park Forest on Feb. 8, according to the FBI.

The man is described as black, with brown eyes and a large Afro, FBI officials said. He is 5 foot 9 inches to 6 feet tall, according to officials.

He is described as 19 to 22 years old with a mustache and a patchy beard. He was wearing a dark gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.

He did not display a weapon.
