Nov. 19--Tickets for the 2016 Chicago Gourmet, at around 20 percent off, will go on sale as Thanksgiving is about to turn to Black Friday, at the stroke of midnight.

Discount tickets to the popular food and wine festival will be $148 for a one-day pass (regularly $185) and $250 for a weekend pass (regularly $295).
The Black Friday ticket discount is becoming a habit with Chicago Gourmet, and if previous years are an indicator, this is the best deal you'll see all year. Only a limited number of tickets are set aside for this sale; you snooze (literally or figuratively), you lose.
The 2016 Chicago Gourmet will take place September 24 and 25 in Millennium Park.
