BRIEF: 'Chicago Fire' to the rescue again ... to help Lady Gaga

Oct. 13--The firefighters on "Chicago Fire" have come to the rescue again.

Taylor Kinney, who stars as Lt. Kelly Severide on "Chicago Fire," said co-stars Eamonn Walker (Battalion Chief Wallace Boden) and Monica Raymund (Gabriela Dawson) helped Kinney's fiancee Lady Gaga prep for her role in the new FX show "American Horror Story: Hotel."

"We've gotten together Friday nights, Saturday nights to help my girl prepare, to help read, to get her off book, to give her choices," Kinney, 34, told E! News in a story posted online Tuesday.

"I just wanted to help my girl prepare the best that she could, so that in itself has helped me just kind of...get immersed in it, in the work, and that translates...the more you talk about it, the more you do it, that stays with you."

"I would love doing something with her," Kinney said. "I met working with her. I don't know that we've done anything workwise since. I wouldn't put that out of the realm of possibilities."

The fourth season of "Chicago Fire" premieres Tuesday on NBC at 9 p.m.
