March 07--Broadway in Chicago announced Monday that "Chicago" will be making its way back to its namesake city this May.
John O'Hurley, best known as J. Peterman on "Seinfeld," a champion of the ABC show "Dancing with the Stars" and the host of "Family Feud," will star as Billy Flynn. O'Hurley previously played the smooth-talking lawyer in the tour last seen in Chicago and in the Broadway revival.
Based on Walter Bobbie's production with Ann Reinking's choreography in the style of Bob Fosse, the tour will be directed by David Hyslop with choreography by David Bushman.
Featuring a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Ebb, the Roaring 20s musical about how to get away with murder runs May 10 -- 15 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph St. Tickets go on sale Friday and are available at 800-775-2000 and broadwayinchicago.com.
