BRIEF: Chicago chefs cook up fundraiser to benefit victims of Paris attacks

Nov. 18--Shortly after the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris, chef Ashlee Aubin (Wood, Salero) hit social media, looking for chefs who wanted to help.

That outreach has turned into a fundraiser that will take place from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 30 at Wood (3335 N. Halsted St.).

Proceeds will benefit Secours Populaire Francaise, a charity providing resources and support to victims and families of the Paris attacks.

Aubin will be joined by Chrissy Camba (Maddy's Dumpling House), Lisa Futterman (Pastoral), Tim Graham (Travelle), Stephen Hasson (Ugo's), Matt Kerney (Longman Eagle) Jimmy Papadopoulos (Bohemian House) and Nicole Pederson (Found), preparing small bites. A cash bar will feature French-inspired cocktails from Wood, Longman Eagle and Sportsman's Club.

Tickets are $50 and include one drink. Purchase tickets here, or at the door.
