Dec. 07--A 15-year-old Chicago boy was fatally wounded Sunday morning in a shooting in south suburban Harvey, said officials.
Nicholas Campbell of the 5800 block of South King Drive, was shot multiple times in the 17100 block of South Halsted Street in Harvey, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Campbell was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey where he was pronounced dead at 3:16 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
There was no immediate information available from the Harvey Police Department about the circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting.
Campbell's death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy Sunday afternoon that determined he died from multiple gunshot wounds.
