March 03--"Jane the Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez said Wednesday she is mourning the death of her dog Ted.
"I love you. I always will. I'll never forget the joy you brought into my life, the journey we took together," Rodriguez posted on Instagram.
Rodriguez, who grew up in the Belmont Cragin neighorhood on the Northwest Side, did not say in the post how Ted died.
Her show "Jane the Virgin," a comedy about an unplanned pregnancy, airs 8 p.m. Mondays on The CW. Rodriguez won the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV comedy last year for her role on the show.
