BRIEF: Charges pending after I-57 rollover crash, police say

Nov. 17--Charges are pending against a driver after a crash on Interstate 57 late Sunday left the driver and a passenger hospitalized, police said.

The single-car crash happened about 11:45 p.m. on I-57 at 175th Street near south suburban Country Club Hills, according to Illinois State Police.

The car was northbound when it crashed and rolled over, police said. The passenger in the car was ejected in the collision.

The car's driver and passenger, whose ages were not immediately available, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, state police said.

The driver will face charges of driving under the influence, state police said.
