BRIEF: Change in plans at Chicago Children's Theatre

Oct. 02--Ralph Covert will replace Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's "Goodnight Moon and the Runaway Bunny" this weekend at Chicago Children's Theatre due to travel delays.

Covert, co-author of "The Hundred Dresses," will perform his rock and roll concert "Ralph's World Rocks and Reads!" The show features songs that correspond to Covert's early learning children's picture books including "Sawdust Spangles," "The Amazing Life of W.C. Coup" and his newest book, "Ralph's World Rocks!"

Next week's performances of "Goodnight Moon and the Runaway Bunny" remain tentatively scheduled through Oct 11. An announcement will be made early next week.

All performances take place at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St.
