Nov. 17--It's been a busy few weeks for Chance the Rapper, who welcomed a baby girl in September, appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" last month and is scheduled to perform on "Saturday Night Live" next month.
The Chicago rapper will make his "SNL" debut in the Dec. 12 episode, which will be hosted by "Avengers" star Chris Hemsworth, NBC confirmed Tuesday on Twitter.
Second City alumni and former "SNL" castmates Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, who will star in next month's "Sisters" movie, are slated to host the Dec. 19 episode featuring musical guest Bruce Springsteen. Ryan Gosling and Leon Bridges are scheduled for the Dec. 5 show.
Chance the Rapper is scheduled to perform locally at the Reaction New Year's Eve in Rosemont on Dec. 31.
