May 06--Willie Mays, who turned 85 on Friday, is considered by many to be the greatest baseball player of all time. He is 11th all-time in hits, fifth in home runs and was a Gold Glove center fielder.
In honor of Mays' birthday, we thought it would be good to revisit his most famous play of all: his over-the-shoulder catch of a Vic Wertz drive in the 1954 World Series. It is one of the most memorable plays in baseball history, and you can watch it in the video above.
