Dec. 14--Kristin Cavallari thanked her new baby girl Saylor for giving her strength in the aftermath of her brother Michael's death.
In an Instagram post Monday, Cavallari shared a picture of Saylor's feet in gray socks resting on a gray blanket with a feathers pattern.
"My little angel, Saylor. She has been my light throughout this whole thing and has given me so much strength. Thank you baby girl for coming when u did," Cavallari wrote.
Michael Cavallari, 30, was found dead last week in Utah after authorities found his car abandoned. Grand County Sheriff Steven White told news outlets that exposure to cold weather may have been a contributing factor to his death but officials are still awaiting autopsy results. White did not return a Tribune request for comment.
Saylor James, Cavallari's third child with Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, was born Nov. 23. Cutler and Cavallari, who wed in 2013, are also parents to Camden Jack, 3, and Jaxon Wyatt, 19 months.
