BRIEF: Casting announced for 'Unspeakable' at Broadway Playhouse

Sept. 11--Broadway in Chicago has announced the full cast for "Unspeakable," the upcoming biographical journey through the life of Richard Pryor.

James Murray Jackson Jr. will again play the famed comedian, having originated the role in the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival.

The ensemble includes E. Faye Butler, Lamar N. Barnes, Ebony Joy, Akilah Perry, Taryn Reneau, Chris Amos, Kierra Bunch, Ginneh Thomas and Ronald L. Conner.

"Unspeakable" spans Pryor's life with a glimpse into his most formative moments, sex, drugs, comedy and all. Rod Gailes OBC is set to direct.

"Unspeakable" plays Oct. 6 through Nov. 8 at the Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut St.
