Jan. 08--Silk Road Rising has announced the cast of Jamil Khoury's new play "Mosque Alert." The production features Rengin Altay, Rom Barkhordar, Amy J. Carle, Keith Kupferer, Sahar Dika, Nina Ganet, Rula Gardenier, Riley McIlven, Andrew L. Saenz, Frank Sawa and Steve Silver.
"Mosque Alert," inspired by the mosque planned for Ground Zero in New York City, follows three Naperville families after an Islamic Center is planned for the site of local historical site.
All performances take place March 24 to May 1 at the Historic Chicago Temple Building at 77 W. Washington St.
