BRIEF: Casting announced for Michael Rohd's 'The Compass'

Jan. 07--Steppenwolf for Young Adults has announced casting for "The Compass," a world-premiere production devised and directed by Michael Rohd.

Ensemble member Tim Hopper, along with Cheryl Lynn Bruce, Ariana Burks, Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel, Johnathan Nieves and Sean Parris will star. Also featured in the cast as facilitators are Bryan Bosque, Jasmin Cardenas, Melissa Du'Prey, Krystel McNeil, Abby Pajakowski, Emilio Robles, Alejandro Tey and Lindsey Barlag Thornton.

"The Compass," playing Feb. 24 -- March 12, follows a young woman at the center of a trial involving a powerful app. Audience members will be able to determine the outcome of the interactive production.

All performances take place at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, 1650 N. Halsted St.
