BRIEF: Casting announced for 'Mary Poppins' at NightBlue

Jan. 20--NightBlue Performing Arts Company has announced casting for "Mary Poppins," the Disney musical based on the 1964 film about a London family's eccentric nanny.

Starring in the titular caretaker role is Kyrie Anderson with Ryan Dooley as the chimney sweep Bert. The Banks family includes Joe Smith as Mr. Banks, MacKenzie Skye as Mrs. Banks, Sage Harper as Jane Banks and Liam Dahlborn as Michael Banks.

Also featured in the cast are Mo Allen, Caron Buinis, Josie Burck, Tim Casey, Eileen Cosgrove Casey, Ryan J. Duncan, Brian Fimoff, Judy Knudtson, Sierra Naomi, Paul E. Packer, Matthew Provencal, Kara Schoenhofer and Jake Stempel.

NightBlue's artistic director David E. Walters will direct, with music direction by Austin Cook and choreography by Kevin Bellie.

"Mary Poppins" opens Feb. 28 and runs through March 27 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave.
