Jan. 07--Jackalope Theatre Company has announced casting for the remainder of the company's 8th season.
Calamity West's new play "Rolling," to be directed by Nate Silver, stars Dana Black as Valerie, with Ann James as Janet, Abby Pierce as Molly and Pat Whalen as Danny. The dark comedy about a celebrated journalist who tries to escape public scrutiny after reporting a sexual assault runs Feb. 24 to April 2.
"Prowess," a new play by Ike Holter, runs May 18 to June 25 with a cast featuring Sydney Charles as Zora, Donovan Diaz as Jax, Julian Parker as Mark and Andrew Burden Swanson as Andy. Marti Lyons will direct Holter's world-premiere about Chicago underdogs who come together during a tumultuous summer to save the day.
All performances take place at Broadway Armory Park, 5917 N. Broadway.
